Any suggestions? I have two stores I like but would like to have more choices.
1. West Coast Aquarium on Reseda Blvd just north of Sherman Way - Huge selection of fish, healthy plants (not a huge selection just now but more to come in spring) good service.
2. Underwater Depot on the corner of Ventura and Woodman - Very knowledgable staff, good healthy fish and good service.

Re: Aquarium Stores
Mon, February 5, 2007 - 10:20 AMHey Miss Deb!
My buddy Marc Grover is one of the owner/managers of Underwater Depot. I'd vote big ups for their store even if I didn't know the owner.
It's not real huge, but it's clean, well staffed, good peeps.
I live a few blocks from the Reseda store you mentioned. Can't stand it. Cluttered. Dirty. Staff is sort of surly. I just go in there for fish food, and filters cuz it's close.
Mention me to Marc, as - Matty Pate' - He doesn't know me as XS. I'm sure he'll hook you up.
Werd Ms.D. -

Mon, February 5, 2007 - 10:29 AMUnderwater Depot is ALWAYS the first stop for me.....they always seem to have the time to go that extra mile and are super patient with a newbie like me. The Reseda store was my stop for a plant...their plant tank is super clean and the plants were very healthy....Underwater Depot didn't have the plants I wanted in yet but they do rock. I'll mention you next time I go back but they already do right by me when I go in.
